Must watch games for Week 9

This Sunday from 4pm - 11pm (EST) is a must watch NFL on TV. The first game will be battle of Unbeaten Patriots Vs. Colts (Game of century) and second will be the battle of NFC East rivals Cowboys Vs. Eagles. I got my game snacks ready, my Dawkins jersey ready, and my fantasy lineups set. I can't wait till Sunday. We will be looking at one of the best Offensive games, Colts Vs. Patriots, and another one with one of the best Defensive games, Cowboys Vs. Eagles. Let me start with the first game at 4:15pm EST Colts Vs. Pats the highly anticipated game in recent memory.

New England Patriots (8-0) at Indianapolis Colts (7-0)

This game will see the best ever offensive performances from Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. The Pats have some revenge in mind from last years loss in AFC title game. The Colts will look to defend their Super Bowl champs title. New England appears to be the favorite. The Pats have obliterated every team they’ve played this season, including the Cowboys and the Chargers. Indianapolis has not looked nearly as dominant but has shown signs of a decent running game, which may be exactly what it needs to defeat New England. Again this will be a high scoring game.
My score is Pats 49, Colts 42
.

Dallas Cowboys (6-1) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-4)

For this game I do not look at the record. This is a big rivalry game. It will be played in hostile Philadelphia. The both teams fans and the local media are ready for the biggest rivalry game. The Eagles desperately need to win this game. They need big game from Donovan McMabb and the offensive line. The Eagles look forward to Dawkins return. They need big turnovers from their defense. As for cowboys they also need to win this game as they will face 3 NFC teams in 3 weeks. Riding high on big contract, Romo needs big game. The offensive line needs to give him more time to find T.O. The 6 turnovers (5 interceptions and 1 Fumble) from Romo against Bills is not what they need. Eagles defense has stepped up big last week. The Eagles limited NFL leading rusher Peterson to just 70 yards on 20 carries in last week's win. This will be a low scoring game.
My score is Cowboys 17, Eagles 21.

A must watch 6hrs of NFL this week.

NFL goes International

National Football League goes to London UK this week with Giants and Dolphins on the field. This is not the first time that NFL game is held outside United States. It was about two years ago the 49ers played Cardinals in Mexico. But it is still in North America, which is not considered International. I think AZ, the home team, had to only travel 3 hours to Mexico which is not bad at all. This is first time regular season game is taking place with flight time more then 8 hrs.

This time Dolphins and Giants have to travel 8hrs + to London. I think it is exciting for the players but at the same time NFL is American sport and why
market or sale American sport outside of America. I understand money is only reason but it does not make sense to me how it will benefit in long run. Rodger Goodell wants 2 international games each season to be played internationally. Goodell is even thinking of having Europe host the Super Bowl. I personally think it is not a good idea. Yes internationally NFL will be recognized but they will still be recognized without them playing there. I am ok with pre season game hosted by International country.

International Business model is good but American product, a passion of normal public, putting that in international market is not a good idea. NFL already has NFL Europe brand out in Europe.

NFL Europe began as part of the more ambitious World League of American Football. Europe's American football league launched in 1987, accompanied by glitz, razzmatazz and, briefly, slightly puzzled full houses. The London Monarchs folded in 1999, to be replaced by the scary-sounding Berlin Thunder.

Football in America is life and passion of a regular Joe. He works hard to earn and spends money on game tickets, food and other entertainment at the NFL game. I think regular Joe will not be in favor of hosting Super Bowl Internationally. Even team owners will not agree with this. They will loose lots of money with Super Bowl hosted outside USA.

I would love to hear from everyone and what is your view on NFL going International.

Is it time for Andy Reid to say goodbye?

So far for the Philadelphia Eagles the 2007 season is not looking bright. Siting at 2-4 after week 7, is not what the Eagles nor the Fans expected. After last weeks dismal 19-16 loss to pathetic Chicago Bears the season is looking short for the Eagles and Andy Reid. Is it time for Any Reid to go? The fans in Philadelphia are not patient we all know that. They are already calling for his departure.

Andy Reid has been with the Eagles since 1999. His 9 years with Eagles has been highly successful. With 82-52 record in his 9 years carrier he has managed his team to a 8 post season wins and 6 post season losses including Super bowl loss to Patriots in 2004.

The Eagles are off to their worst start since Andy Reid's first season as the head coach (1999), and with the other three NFC East teams off to strong starts, it might be too much to climb out of. Is Andy Reid to be blamed for the worst start? I think Andy Reid is not the only person to be blamed. I was looking at the tapes for past 2 games and I think he has been calling some good plays but the players are not executing. The red zone offense is terrible and Donovan McNabb is not getting to his receivers quickly. Offensive line needs to wake up and do better job. Receivers need to run better routs and catch the ball. Only thing I can blame Andy Reid is on Team Management. He has to get his player prepared mentally. On the field execution is all on players. The play calling on Sunday against Bears I thought was good. It was balance calling.

After seeing the success of Reid with this team for 9 years I am not ready to give up on him yet. I think the team will bounce back and will perform well. Even though NFC east is getting stronger I believe Dallas is the only threat. Lets wait and see after Dallas game and make decision on Reid. I would love to hear your feedback on Reid.
